Now you can actually know what is it you have been stitching this whole time! I am very happy to post PART 4 of the Stitch-along.
Stitch-along Part 4
I have a confession. I have been bad, and I have not finished Part 3 yet. I will catch up, I just need to hunker down and stitch!
I have to report back on a really fun little stop I made today at The Strawberry Sampler in Glen Mills, PA. We were in the area for a birthday celebration for my Grandfather, otherwise it would have been a 2 hour trip. My Mom and Dad and Peej were all with me in the car, and if you know my father you know there is nothing he hates more than SHOPPING. And then combine that with anything craft related, and it's out of the question. He didn't step foot in the shop (haha), instead staying in the parking lot throwing rocks with Peej. Mom and I only had 15 minutes, and believe me I would have been able to spend 2 hours in there if I had the time! It was the cross-stitch jack-pot. I'd love to have some of my designs in there some day!
I bought some special fabrics for a few projects that I designed and are patiently waiting to be stitched. My friend, Deb, from work introduced me to Floba (a chunky linen), and I am in love! The Strawberry Sampler had some, but the shop lady said that it was hard to come by. I know, I could probably order it on-line, but I really did want to see it in person before I bought a ton of it. I mostly wanted to make sure it was a color that I liked.
Mom and I have decided that we need to make the trip down to the store men-free in the near future. Anyone want to come with us?
